An event tomorrow will mark George Washington’s trip through Butler County that happened over 270 years ago.
The Cherry Pie Hike is an annual tradition held near Washington’s Birthday. Multiple guided hikes and walks are scheduled throughout the day at the Jennings Environmental Center.
The Cherry Pie Hike takes visitors back to Washington’s journey through Butler County in 1753 as he worked his way from Virginia to Fort LeBoeuf in Erie.
Registration is closed for the Cherry Pie Hike, but visitors can stop by the Jennings Environmental Center tomorrow to learn more.
