New Parking Kiosks are currently being installed in several Butler City parking lots.
Last month, council approved an agreement with BTS for the purchase of parking technology and related services through Park Mobile at no cost to the city.
According to Parking Manager Jimmy Chiprean, a total of seven kiosks are being installed between the Butler City Building lot, the Noth Main Street lot, the Diamond lot, and the Center City lot.
The kiosks are not active yet. City residents and those planning to utilize City parking are invited to familiarize themselves with the machines before a couple week trial period begins next month with warnings given to those who do not pay.
