Butler City Mayor Bob Dandoy says that the City has made a resolution in regards to a road salt shortage.
While Dandoy did not provide details, he said the problem appeared resolved for the “short-term.”
Yesterday, Dandoy told our newsroom that salt supplies were “dramatically low.”
County officials say they’ve only had one other municipality reach out about a shortage. When that happens, the county contacts PEMA who then coordinates through the state’s emergency management agency.
Although they note there is no guarantee additional salt will arrive.
