Clair T. “Tom” Uber, 86, of Butler, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026.
Born July 14, 1939, in Grove City, he was the son of the late Clair J. and Eleanor L. (Winger) Uber.
Tom was a graduate of New Wilmington High School, and went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Butler Moose Lodge #64, the Butler Elks Lodge #0170, VFW Post 249, the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club, and the Grove City Masonic Lodge 603. Tom was also a member of the Butler Global Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, and loved to hunt.
Tom is survived by his brother, Jack A. (Susan) Uber, two daughters; Julie Myers and Deborah Hartman, and four loving nieces.
A memorial visitation for Tom will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 11AM until the time of the memorial service at 1PM at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North St., Butler PA 16001. A masonic service will be held in Tom’s honor at 12:30 PM.
He will be laid to rest privately in Crestview Memorial Park.
