Hundreds of brave souls are embracing the chilly weather and water in the Parker area later on today.
The Parker Polar Plunge is set for 2 p.m. in the Allegheny River.
The annual event sees a large crowd take a dip in the mighty Allegheny to kick off the new year.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. for the plunge.
