A new sewer plan has been introduced by Connoquenessing Township after the previous plan was rejected.
The current proposed plan would be use multiple options to meet the Department of Environmental Protections standards. The plan will use the gravity, low pressures, and on lot sewage management programs.
Officials with the township say this approach differs from the previously proposed large major project options.
Engineers are currently reviewing the plan and the hopes is to have the plan available for public comment by mid-April.
The township must submit a plan to the DEP by July 1st.
