Construction on a new walking trail at Ash Top Park in Forward Township will begin in the near future.
The county approved a consulting agreement to help design the new 2,600-foot paved walk way at the park. It will connect to the current walking trail that travels along the Connoquenessing Creek.
Plans include the paved trail, new landscaping, improved parking, and other improvements.
The project is being funded by Forward Township and a grant from DCNR.
