A Cranberry organization is inviting the public to help raise money for vocational scholarships through an event this weekend.
The Cranberry Elks is hosting “Learn to Play Texas Hold’em in the Wild, Wild West” Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Elks Lodge Banquet Hall on Route 19. Doors open at 6:30.
The Elks Vocational Scholarship Committee is offering a modified version of Texas Hold’em for beginners. Participants are invited to come dressed in western garb and line dance to western music.
The ticket price is $40 per person and includes starter chips, food, and access to a cash bar. Attendees must be 21 to enter and no outside alcohol is permitted.
