Dale B. McCandless, 74, of Butler passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026. He was born in Butler on December 6, 1951, to the late George and Georgette (Hapsic) McCandless.
After graduating high school, Dale furthered his education at Edinboro University for art.
In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing and painting; and completed the Pittsburgh Marathon in his wheelchair.
Dale is survived by his siblings and sisters-in-law, Randy (Sue) and Bruce (Debbie) McCandless.
Along with his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his siblings, Don and Gary McCandless and Linda Bowman.
