Dana (Marynchak) Adams, 68 a first-generation American, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025. Born on July 5, 1957, and raised in the Washington, D.C. area during the turbulent 1960s and ’70s, Dana carried the spirit of strength and independence that defined the era.
Throughout her life, Dana broke barriers and defied expectations. She worked as a welder at Pullman-Standard, drove an 18-wheeler across the country, and most recently, a bar tender— each job a testament to her grit, her fearlessness, and her refusal to live life by anyone else’s rules. Dana was known for her fierce independence, quick wit, and unwavering authenticity.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Adams) Pazos; her sister, Regina (Marynchak) Staiger; her nephew, Andy Wallace; and her niece, April Wallace-Garcia. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her and will always be remembered for the bold and vibrant life she led.
