David Hovis

David Hovis, 73, of Butler passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025. He was born in Butler on April 15, 1952, to the late Robert and Mary (Tilko) Hovis. David attended Butler High School and then honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as an auto body repairman for various garages. David loved to tell jokes and joke around with anyone and everyone. He enjoyed softball, hunting and fishing. David is survived by his brother, Robert Hovis and sister, Susan Laughner. Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his sisters; Carol Morgus, Linda Miller, and Mary Lou Fiechuck. All services were held privately through Spencer D.
