The Pennsylvania Game Commission is reminding turkey hunters of an upcoming deadline to submit reports.
Now that spring turkey season has ended, all turkeys harvested are required to be reported by law within 10 days. All hunters with special spring turkey license tags that allow for the harvest of a second turkey must submit a report even if they did not harvest a second bird.
Reports can be submitted online through the Game Commission’s website, phoned in, or sent by mail. Hunters are advised to have immediate access to their license as well as the tag used to harvest the bird in the field in order to be able to make the report.
The deadline for reporting is this Sunday, June 13th. This deadline was extended as a result of technical difficulties with the online reporting system which have now been resolved.
