Deborah Kay Wonderling, 74, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2025, at her home.
She was born on September 21, 1951, in Butler, the daughter of the late Thomas Hemmington Holt and Lois (Young) Holt.
Debbie was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church. She dedicated many years of her life to serving the community as a bus driver. Debbie cherished her time with her family, finding immense joy in celebrating holidays together and creating lasting memories.
She is survived by her children, Melanie (Johnathon) Hirz of Butler, Sean (Erica) Wonderling of Johnstown, Stephen Wonderling of Butler, Amy Wonderling, Robert (Lindsey) Wonderling of Butler, and Heaven Wonderling of Butler; her grandchildren, Victoria Holmes, Gabrielle Wolfe, Ashleigh Hirz, Raymond Hirz, Thomas Hirz, Colton Wonderling, Josephine Wonderling, William Whipkey, Anthony Wonderling, and Michael Wonderling; eight great-grandchildren; her siblings, Marlene L. Skelley of Butler, Larry Holt of Butler, Lana McKinnis of Butler, Kevin Holt of Butler, and Robin Hodge of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Thomas Wonderling; a granddaughter, Hope Marie Wonderling; and her siblings, Thomas Holt Jr., Paula Shannon, Richard David Holt, and Robert Holt.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Reformed Church, 493 Evans City Road, with Pastor Jarrod Crawford officiating.
Private burial will take place at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
