The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry has filed a lawsuit against a Mars business for allegedly not paying 25 employees.
The suit filed late last week claims Last Mile Delivery Service in Mars withheld $56,492 in wages, ranging from $85 to $5,000 per person.
Last Mile is a delivery service that works with Amazon Prime and has offices in Mars. The business operates out of a garage in Sewickley. Christopher Novak has also been named as a defendant in the case.
Along with lost wages the suit is asking for 25 percent in penalties and more in the suit.
