Pennsylvania’s former top watchdog and investigator is making a run for Attorney General.
Former Auditor General Eugene DePasquale is the first person to announce he will be running for Attorney General. DePasquale was Auditor General from 2013 to 2020 before that he severed in the Pennsylvania State House.
He made the announcement yesterday in a press release saying he’s running “to take my experience as a protector and watchdog to go after the criminals and extremists who are attacking Pennsylvanians’ freedoms.”
It is customary in Pennsylvania politicians appointed to elected positions not run for reelection current Attorney General Michelle Henry has already announced she will not run for reelection.
