Donald “Butch” Reese, 79, of Slippery Rock passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026. He was born in Boyers, PA on March 29, 1947, to the late Donald and Violet Reese. Butch held numerous jobs throughout his life; a constable, truck driver, repo man, firefighter and heavy equipment operator.
He loved to drag race, classic cars and spending his time outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Butch was the beloved husband of Nellie (Ealy) Reese, whom he married on June 11, 1986; father of George and William “Bill” Moore; brother of Roy, Dave, Dori, and Mary Reese, Jerry, Grace and Peggy Parker; grandfather of 15; great grandfather of 16.
Along with his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his children, Genie Summers and Norma Jean Claypoole, and siblings Albert Reese, Donna Claypoole and Ray “Lee” Parker.
