A television show filming on Main Street in Butler will result in some parking restrictions but no detours or street closings.
According to Butler City Police, the parking restrictions on Main Street, North Street, and two city lots will begin at 4 p.m. today (Wednesday) and continue until Thursday at 11 p.m.
The no parking on Main Street will be approximately 15 spots on the east side next to the old Phillips Gas building. Work trucks will be parked in the public lots. Crew will be parking in the Tier Parking Garage. Crew base will be in the Pullman Square Parking Lot. Catering is planned to be set up at Global Methodist Church.
The Apple TV show Parallax plans to use the exterior and interior of the building as the police station of the fictional town of Fairhaven. This show stars Liev Schreiber and is based on the Killer Instinct series of books by Lars Kepler.
