Duane Knox, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son, has passed away. He was born March 28, 1959. Known for his hardworking hands and vibrant spirit, Duane spent his career as a dedicated road construction laborer, building a life of memories for those he loved.
Duane lived his life out loud. A true rock and roll soul, he was a massive fan of the band KISS. Those who knew Duane best will forever remember his signature sense of humor—he loved dark jokes, having a great time, and bringing laughter to the people around him.
Family was at the heart of Duane’s world. He shared 14 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Michele Knox, who will cherish his memory. He is also survived by his loving children: Amanda (Duane) Knox, Adam Knox, Jarrod (Kayla) Knox, Travis (Jewel) Knox, Trista (Travis) Fischer, and Brianne (James) Kramer. His legacy of fun will live on through his many grandchildren: Savanna, Ethan, Braden, Brandon, Duane, Chanze, Izabella, Zyler, Melody, Henry, Nora, Reagan, Riley, Jameison, Pheonix, Ava, Brantley, and Wylder.
He also leaves behind his siblings, Melissa (Jeff) Wall, Vickie Giesbrecht, and Jason (Jess) Koblak, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Duane was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Koblak, and his brother, Roger Cunningham.
While the music has paused, the melody of Duane’s life will continue to rock on in the hearts of his family and friends.
