Yesterday was the final day to file nomination petitions in Pennsylvania and the ballots are set for the May 19 primary election.
For the 16th Congressional district, Republican Mike Kelly will have an uncontested primary, but will be challenged in the general by Democrat Justin Wagner.
In the State House, Marci Mustello, who represents the 11th district, and Tim Bonner, who represents the 17th district, will both have uncontested primary and general elections.
Republican Aaron Bernstine who represents the 8th district will not have a primary challenge but will face Democrat Rick Telesz in the general election.
Finally, the 12th district will have contested Republican Primary as Representative Stephenie Scialabba is not seeking reelection. The primary will be between Ethan Nicholas and Scott Timko. The winner of the primary will face Democrat Brandon Dukes in the general election.
