Ellen Brothers, 73, of Fenelton passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. She was born in Butler on March 16, 1953, to the late Charles and Ethel (Waltman) Boal.
Ellen graduated from Butler High School and she furthered her education at Edinboro and WVU, receiving her master’s degree in education. She was a special education and life skills teacher at Butler High School for 25 years.
Ellen enjoyed cooking and being around family. She loved playing Backgammon with her friends. Ellen was a great wife, good friend, and very loving, caring and educated.
Ellen was the beloved wife of Robert Brother, whom she married in 2008; sister of Edward (Kathy), Curtis (Donna) and Gregory (Lil) Boal; step-mother of Presten Bartmas and Crystal (Ryan) Schindler; she is also survived by her 2 step-grandchildren and her large and loving family.
