Later this week, enforcement of a ban against using a cell phone while driving will go into effect.
Paul Miller’s Law is named after a man that was killed by a distracted driver Monroe County in 2010.
The law has been in effect for months, but drivers have only been given a warning by police if pulled over.
On Friday, enforcement action will begin and drivers can be subject to fines and summary citations to violators.
