Eunice J. Ifft Zabicki, 79, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2005, at her residence.
Born in Butler on Jan. 27, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Ifft and Della Rihel Ifft.
Eunice attended Butler Beauty School, and she operated a child daycare center. She later worked for Sheetz for nine years.
She was a member of All Saints Parish.
Eunice is survived by four sons, Richard Zabicki of Butler, Robert Zabicki and his wife, Sue, of Clarion, Ronald Zabicki of Chicora, and Dave Zabicki and his wife, Sharon, of Chicora; eight grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and her longtime friend, Helen Hindman, with whom she took many trips and shared great memories.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Zabicki, who passed away Aug. 22, 2003; her daughter, Marsha Zabicki, who passed away May 21, 2024; and three brothers, James Ifft, Carl Ifft, and Donald Ifft.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home Downtown, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, on Thursday, Aug. 21, from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m., with Deacon James Shope, of All Saints Parish, officiating.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
