Representative Mike Kelly has been named in a document related to the January 6th investigation.
Kelly and eight other Republicans had their phone records analyzed as part of the FBI’s January 6th investigation, according to documents released by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
A spokesperson for Congressman Kelly cited a previous statement that accused former President Joe Biden’s “Justice Department of weaponizing against its political opponents.”
Fellow Republicans named in the document also said they had serious concerns about the conduct of the FBI in the investigation.
When asked if Rep. Kelly had any communication with the White House before, during, or after January 6th insurrection attempt about the certification process, no comment was given.
