Former President Donald Trump will participate in a victim interview with the FBI concerning the shooting in Butler County earlier this month.
FBI Pittsburgh Special Agent in Charge Kevin Rojek shared that information and more during a call with media members Monday morning.
The FBI is looking to get Trump’s perspective on what he observed just like any other witness to a crime. The FBI has already conducted over 450 interviews in relation to the attempted assassination. Tips from the public have proven to be “invaluable” and are still being accepted.
FBI representatives went on to say that this investigation is still ongoing and the motive is still not clear at this time. Also, the FBI is not evaluating the effectiveness or failures of law enforcement agencies but they are cooperating with Congressional investigators who are.
