A federal court has order Harris Jewelers to reopen its refund portal after lawsuits filed by 18 states and Attorney General Michelle Henry.
Harris Jewelers has been found responsible for using misleading marketing and sales practices to mostly servicemembers.
The New York Jeweler claimed purchases would improve credit scores in and sold protections they claimed were required or added them without the consumers knowledge.
They have been ordered to reopen its refund claims process and reach out to consumers.
Those impacted will be able to claim part of over $8 million in refunds still available.
