The latest College Football Playoff Rankings has placed Ohio State, Indiana, Georgia and Texas Tech in the top four. The top four teams receive a first-round playoff “bye”. All four of the current top four teams will be playing in conference championship games this weekend. The final CFP rankings will be released Sunday.
Among the Conference Championship games Saturday:
–Ohio State and Indiana meet for the Big 10 title. The Buckeyes are 4-1/2 point favorites.
–Texas Tech will face BYU for the Big 12 title. Texas Tech is a 12-1/2 point favorite.
–Georgia and Alabama meet in the SEC championship. Georgia is a 2-1/2 point favorite.
–In the ACC championship game – Virginia is a 3-1/2 point favorite over Duke.
#3-ranked Kutztown in Division II – will host Frostburg State in the national quarterfinals Saturday at noon. The 13-0 Golden Bears are one of three remaining undefeated teams in the national playoffs, and the lone team left from the PSAC.
