A flash flood warning is in effect for Butler County.
The National Weather Service issued the warning around 1:15 p.m. for areas in the northwestern portion of the county. It includes Slippery Rock, Hillards, Eau Claire, and West Liberty.
Officials say strong storms could result in flash flood conditions near rivers, streams, and creeks.
