The Game Commission is continuing to keep an eye on the avian flu among the wild bird population.
As a winter-time outbreak continues in the center of the state, officials are asking the public to report any sick or dead birds in the wild.
You can submit reports by phone or online. Officials say this allows the Game Commission to step in with removal, testing, and tracking the bird flu.
They may not be able to respond to all reports, but it allows the Commission to keep better track of possible outbreaks.
They also say to not handle any infected birds.
