Gerald Stewart Sr.

Gerald Stewart Sr., 78, of Slippery Rock passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. He was born in Butler on April 19, 1947, to the late William and Mary (Baker) Stewart. Gerald had numerous jobs during his career, starting out he delivered newspapers, then worked for Pepsi Products and most recently at the David Joseph Scrap Yard. He was known for being funny, caring, and was loved by all his family and friends. Gerald enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the 3 Stooges, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his grandkids. Gerald was the beloved husband of the late Linda Stewart; father of Diana Spinetti; brother of Donald, David (Terri), and William (Mary) Stewart; grandfather of Jeremy (Brandy Double) Locke, Linda (Shane) Caldwell, and Sophia Locke; great grandfather of Daryn, Donevan, Timberly, Hunter, Colten, Selena, Wyatt, Declan and Daniella. Along with his parents and wife, Gerald was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Stewart Jr., and his siblings, Ronald Stewart and Mary (Robert) Phillips.
