Gibbs will not appeal Nascar DQ

Joe Gibbs Racing will not appeal the Nascar decision that stripped Denny Hamlin’s win Sunday at Pocono Raceway, and disqualified Hamlin and runner-up Kyle Busch. The organization admitted that there had been clear tape placed in specific areas of the front end prior to the race-appearing body wrap had been put on each vehicle. Chase Elliott was declared the race winner after the Gibbs cars failed post-race inspection.
