Republican House leaders are calling for an investigation into a contact tracing data breach.
Our news partners at WPXI reported last week that over 70,000 people had their information exposed due to a breach at Insight Global—which was an contractor hired by the Department of Health to conduct contact tracing.
Republicans say they want to look into the scope of the breach and the consequences it had on state residents.
The Department of Health says they will not renew the contract with Insight Global—which was valued at approximately $23 million.
