Harvey “Skip” Daum, 68, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. He was born in Butler on October 17, 1952 to the late Harvey J. Jr. and Wilda R. Daum. Harvey worked for the maintenance department at Life Steps for numerous years. He loved anything outdoors, like hunting and fishing, especially fishing with his daughters. He also enjoyed singing on the “sing snap” app. Above all else he loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren. Harvey was the devoted husband of Patty (Hahn) Daum since their marriage in 1978; father of Aimee Fleeger and Ashley (Chris) Rodgers; brother of James (Alyce) Daum of Georgia, William L. (Darlene) Daum of Butler, and T. Scott (Lynn) Daum of Virginia; grandfather of Sadie (Cory) Powell, Shane Fleeger, Kori Fleeger, and Logan Daum-Rodgers; great grandfather of Kinsley Powell. Harvey is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister Cynthia Daum and brother Roger Daum.
