High school baseball from Monday (4/27/26):
–Butler shutout Seneca Valley 10-0 behind a combined six hits from Nathan Stefaniak and Trent Best, who also combined on a three-hit shutout from the mound. The Golden Tornado improved to 13-3 overall and 8-2 in Class 6A Section-1 play. The Raiders fell to 10-8 overall and 5-5 in section play.
–Knoch-13 Derry-1 in five innings. Zane Pacek struck out seven to lead the Knights, who are now 11-5 overall and 6-3 in Class 4A Section-3.
–Freeport-15 Yough-1 in six innings. The Yellow Jackets remained unbeaten in 14 games this season. They are also 9-0 in Class 3A Section-3.
–Karns City-26 Keystone-6 in four innings.
–Blackhawk-7 North Catholic-3.
–Redbank Valley-9 AC Valley/Union-5.
