High school sports scores from Tuesday:
Baseball:
–Butler shutout Seneca Valley 2-0. Blake Scott hit a game-winning two-run home run in the third inning. Kyle Casteel allowed one hit and struck out six in a complete game. The only hit came from the first batter of the game. The Golden Tornado improved to 14-3 overall and 9-2 in section play. Last nights’ victory clinched the Class 6A Section 1 title for the Golden Tornado for the first time since 2014.

–Freeport-8 Yough-4. The Yellow Jackets improved to 15-0 overall and 10-0 in section play. Kason Barker drove in five of Freeport’s eight runs.
