Baseball:
–The Slippery Rock baseball team was victim of the thunderstorms across the region Wednesday. The Rockets had fallen behind Hickory 6-1 yesterday, but rallied with five runs in the top of the sixth inning to tie the game at 6-6. Slippery Rock hit three home runs in that half of the inning to aid their comeback. BUT, the game was then delayed by lightning, and eventually the umpires decided to use a PIAA rule and revert the game back to the fifth inning and end the game. It gave Hickory the win, while Slippery Rock fell to 3-3. The Rockets visit Mercer Friday
