A hillside in Armstrong County is stabilized after a landslide following heavy rain.
Our news partners at WPXI report that the hillside on 7th Avenue in Ford City was stabilized. It was impacted by a landslide last weekend between two homes.
An exterior wall of one of the homes was pushed in, but the house was being renovated and no one was inside.
Officials decided to have a contractor come and redirect the water, which helped get the landslide under control.
