State House lawmakers have been called back to Harrisburg this weekend on the potential of advancing a budget in the house.
Appropriation committee meeting is expected to be held Saturday night before a voting session on Sunday.
Before the 4th of July holiday, Republican lawmakers claimed a final budget was near. Before leaving for the holiday, the senate advanced legislation to fund critical services in the Commonwealth before taking the break.
The Senate has yet to be called back into session by state Republican leaders.
