Independence Health System will be hosting a free hernia education and screening event later this month.
The event will be led by general surgeons of the hospital. They will discuss the different types of hernias as well as risks and treatment options.
It’s set for June 30th at 4:30 p.m. at the Butler Crossroads Campus.
Appointment slots are limited and attendees must be present for the seminar to get free screening. The hospital is asking residents to register in advance by calling 877-771-1234 and press 3.
