As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Independence Health System is offering walk-in breast cancer screenings.
They are calling it “Walk-In Wednesdays” when mammograms will be offered to the public according to Lisa Moore of the Women’s Imaging Center.
“The screenings take place every Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There are no scripts or appointments needed,” Moore said. “Come in and we’ll help take care of everything.”
The mammograms are offered at five different locations, including the Crossroads Campus on Route 38.
There will also be walk-in clinics at the campus tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. And then on this upcoming Monday, and on October 20th from 4-6:30 p.m.
