James “Jim” Bryan Wylie, 70, of Butler passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2026, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer at Alleghany General Hospital. Born on April 19, 1955, to the late Robert and Mary “Thelma” (Shira) Wylie.
Jim was a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Butler Memorial Hospital for 33 years until his retirement. He had a true heart for caregiving not only for his patients, but for his family and friends as well.
Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Summit Township Sportsman’s Club.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Chris) Juszczak; his sister Laura Wylie, brothers David and William Wylie; his former wife, Tammy; former step-children Karyssa and Dakota; his beloved dog, Maggie; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Ronald Venturini and grandmother, Edna Shira.
