James “Jim” Rock, Jr., 64, of East Butler, PA, passed away on August 26, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.
James was born on March 17, 1962, to the late James Rock, Sr. and Sally (Todd) Rock.
He graduated from Butler High School. He went on to work as a Supervisor at Standard Bent Glass before retiring in 2010. James loved riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. Above all, he loved being with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Amy (Serafine) Rock, whom he married on February 19, 1983. They were married for 43 wonderful years and had many great memories together. He is also survived by 2 sons, Joseph (Maria) Andrew Rock and Joshua (Amber) James Rock; 7 grandchildren, Damian, Sarah, Izabella, Lilah, Kevin, Cayden, and Brendan; one brother, Greg Rock; and three nephews, Zack, Kaylob, and Devin.
The family would like to thank Jim’s caretaker, Carolyn Sofi. She was truly heaven-sent and became a special part of the family in her time caring for Jim and always will be.
Friends and Family will be received from 1 pm to 3 pm on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3 pm with Pastor Dana L. Opp officiating.
