Joanne Louise Negley, 82, of Butler, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Feb. 5, 1944, in Slippery Rock, she was the daughter of the late Francis Blaney Roudybush and Agnes Charlotte Ryan Roudybush.
She was employed for a brief time as a registered nurse at Butler VA Medical Center and then she worked at Friedman’s Supermarket at Greater Butler Mart.
Joanne loved to golf and bowl.
Surviving are two brothers, Francis Roudybush and his wife, Judy, of Slippery Rock, and Harold Roudybush, of Butler; and a sister-in-law, Sally Griffith, of Butler
In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Negley; infant son, Jeffrey; one brother, Paul Roudybush; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Roudybush.
There will be no visitation, and services will be private.
Entombment will be in Lakewood Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin Funeral Home South Side, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
