John J. Cunningham Sr, 74, of Butler Pa passed away on Monday May 18th, 2026. Born in Green County, PA on April 21st, 1952.
Throughout his young life John was in and out of foster homes, until he met his lifelong foster parents Eleanor Hufnagel and the late Frank Parson.
He had a great enjoyment of all thing’s sports. His favorite pastime was watching football whether it be high school, college or professional. He also enjoyed fishing or going deer spotting with his daughter.
He leaves behind his wife, Therese Cunningham; daughter Katherine (Blake) McCandless; stepchildren Laura (Evan) Nolte and Timothy Moeller; three adopted siblings Lorna, Joe and Jordan.
John is preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Cunningham and son, John J Cunningham Jr.
He will forever be greatly missed.
