Joseph Pullano, Jr., age 85, of Butler, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Chicora Medical Center.
Born in Butler on June 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Joseph R. Pullano, Sr. and M. Alberta Fend Pullano.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Joe was employed at Pullman Standard until it closed. He was also employed for many years as a salesperson for ProTech Lubricants and as an automotive salesperson at Keck Chrysler Plymouth.
He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. He also belonged to American Legion Post 117, the Allegheny Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club, and the Sons of Italy lodge in Brady’s Bend.
He is survived by one daughter, Gina Liebler and her husband, Michael, of Butler; one granddaughter, Katie Liebler, of Farmington, PA; one sister, Dianne Porter, of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Walker Pullano, who passed away May 5, 1991.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc. 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. from Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Avenue, Butler, with Reverend Will Wuenschel officiating.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by American Legion Post 117, VFW Post 249, and American Legion Post 778.
