Karen D. Scott

Karen D. Scott, 73, of Butler passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. She was born in Butler on September 15, 1951, to the late William and Margaret (Brown) Plunkard. She attended Butler High School and was employed as a prep cook for numerous years at many places. Karen loved to cook, loved listening to Elvis and was a lover of all animals. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. Karen was the beloved wife of the late Robert Scott (2021); mother of numerous step children; sister of Robert (Marsha) Brown, William (Angie), David (Alma) Plunkard, and Lynnette (Brent) Funkhouser; grandmother of many step grandchildren; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, many friends and her beloved dogs, Suzie and Coco. Along with her parents and husband, Karen was preceded in death by her siblings, Gary (Mary) Plunkard, Ted and Trudy Funkhouser.
