Katherine Ann “Kathy” Mosley

Katherine Ann “Kathy” Mosley, 58, of Butler, passed away Monday, Sept.28, 2026, just three weeks after receiving a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
Born Jan. 20, 1968, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John Walter Norling, Sr. and Patricia Kay Hancheck Norling.
An accountant, Kathy was employed at Lifesteps.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed art, especially diamond painting.
Kathy was an advocate and volunteer for animals. She fostered puppies, and she frequently ended up keeping one (or more).
Kathy is survived by her beloved son, Jonathan Everett Mosely, of Butler; her loving mother, Patricia Kay Hancheck Norling; and one brother, John Walter Norling, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, of Pittsburgh.
In addition to her father, John Walter Norling, Sr., who passed away Sept. 15, 2013, Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Arthur Mosley, who passed away Sept. 16, 2015; and one aunt, Mary Ann Hancheck, who passed away Dec. 10, 2009.
Services were private.
