The Knoch Education Association has filed Unfair Labor Practice charges with the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board against the Knoch School District.
After both the Knoch School Board and Education Association approved a fact-finding report from a mediator last October resulting in the basis for a new contract, negotiations on a new contract have stalled.
A hearing will be held on September 16th to discuss allegations that the district changed agreed-upon language from the Fact-Finding report, namely delayed implementation of dental and vision benefit improvements.
Knoch Solicitor Tom Breth told our newsroom that the district is looking forward to addressing the allegations before the state board.
