Kyle Larson won a crash-filled Nascar Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday. He made a dramatic charge to the finish line after losing the lead late. Larson won in a three-wide race to the finish line, holding off Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and his teammate William Byron for the win. He also extended his championship point lead to 73 over Denny Hamlin with two races remaining.
A 12-car crash on the 132nd lap collected five Chase drivers, effectively ending the championship hopes for Ryan Blaney and Tyler Reddick. The drivers head to Martinsville Speedway this Sunday.
A later crash took out Joey Logano. His day ended on with his car on its roof.
