Linda D. Mauthe, 67, of Butler, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Linda was born on June 23, 1958, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to the late Kenneth and Eva (McClaine) Fair.
Linda graduated from Butler High School in 1976. She went on to work for Helping Hands and Valley Services, as a Caregiver. She was also a longtime member of the Salvation Army. Linda enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, genealogy, crocheting, playing games, as well as spending time with her loving family and dog, Rebel.
Linda is survived by her five children, Bartholomew Mauthe, Benjamin Mauthe, Gara (Joseph) O’Neil, Melea (Casey) Cranmer, and Marlee (Steven Pawloski) Mauthe; her eight grandchildren Bailey Mauthe, Mary Mauthe, Claire O’Neil, Leon O’Neil, Kylie O’Neil, Rowan Cranmer, Oriana Cranmer, and Kerrigan Cranmer; as well as by her numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her three brothers, Lewis Fair, Leroy Fair, and Don Fair; her seven sisters, Carrie Fair, Mary Mauthe, Gloria Parker, Thressa Fair, Lucille Fair, Janice Fair, and Nancy Fair.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
A Memorial Service will take place at 6:00pm, on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
