Linda (Markle) Byrd

Linda (Markle) Byrd, 62, of Missouri City, TX passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. She was born in Butler on July 9, 1963, to Nancy (Denny) Markle and the late Gerald Markle. Linda graduated from Butler High School in 1981 and furthered her education at Slippery Rock University where she earned her Elementary Education Degree. In her early life, Linda was a member of the Butler High School’s marching band and The General Butler Vagabonds. She was employed as an elementary school teacher for the Houston, TX Independent School System. Linda loved all Pittsburgh Sports and her dogs, especially her Chow-Chow, Capone. Linda is survived by her mother; siblings, Gerald “Jerry” (Sandy) Markle and Gregory S. Markle; 1 nephew, 2 nieces, 1 uncle, several aunts, and numerous cousins.
